Responsibilities
Vice Mayor Liu Xiaoliu is responsible for education, ethnic and religious affairs, human resources and social security, logistics, ports, commerce and trade, the new economy, healthcare, women and children, convention and exhibition, postal management and investment promotion of the service industry. She oversees the Bureau of Education, Bureau of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, Office of Port and Logistics, Business Bureau (Management Committee of the Chengdu Pilot Free Trade Zone), New Economic Committee, Health Insurance Bureau and Trade Promotion Association (Bureau of Expo Affairs). She coordinates with the Chengdu Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, Municipal Women's Federation, Red Cross Society, Postal Administration, Chengdu Customs and other units.

Female, Han nationality, born in Mar 1971, in Chengdu of Sichuan Province, she entered the workforce in July 1992 and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in June 1994. She graduated from Sichuan University, majoring in Political Economics at the School of Economics, Sichuan University, and holds a postgraduate diploma and a doctoral degree in Economics.
She is currently serving as the vice mayor and member of the Party Group of the Chengdu Municipal People’s Government.
