Wang Fengchao, male, Han ethnicity, was born in December 1965 and is from Zhongjiang County, Sichuan Province. He joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in January 1986 and began his first job in July 1986. He graduated from the School of Management, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China where he studied business management and completed a postgraduate program. He holds a Doctor of Management degree.

Wang is currently Deputy Secretary of the CPC Chengdu Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor and Acting Mayor of Chengdu Municipal People's Government.
